UK ethnic minority MPs projection 2024

The next UK parliament is expected to be the most ethnically diverse in history, with between 77 and 84 ethnic minority MPs elected depending on the scenario. In the last election, held in 2019, there were estimated to be 65 MPs from ethnic minority backgrounds, compared with just four in 1987.
