Big-ticket items: BNPL payment by country 2023

In a survey conducted during the second quarter of 2023, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions appeared to be particularly popular among global shoppers. Just over 60 percent of respondents in Portugal said they'd prefer using BNPL services to pay for a big-ticket purchase in interest-free installments rather than using their credit card. In contrast, that figure stood at 42 percent in the United Kingdom.
