Importance of product sustainability in Hong Kong 2023, by consumer gender
According to a survey about sustainable consumption conducted by Rakuten Insight in Hong Kong in December 2023, around 76 percent of female respondents and 73 percent of male respondents said that it was important to them that the products they purchased were sustainably-made/packaged or environmentally-friendly. Only four percent of surveyed women and six percent of men admitted that this aspect was not essential to them at all.
