Sustainable consumption practices when buying goods India 2023
According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023, 74 percent of Indian consumers who adopted sustainable consumption habits stated that they reduced the usage of single-use plastic, such as plastic shopping bags, plastic straws, or takeaway cups. On the contrary, 17 percent of consumers bought second-hand goods or exchanged items with friends.
