Reasons for visiting South Korea 2022, by gender
According to a survey conducted among international visitors to South Korea throughout 2022, around 53 percent of male respondents stated that they visited the country for business reasons compared to only 12.5 percent of female respondents. Women were significantly more likely to visit for leisure and holiday reasons as well as for educational opportunities.
