According to a survey conducted among adults in Australia in September 2023 regarding their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors around alcohol, around 24 percent of those surveyed in the 60 to 69 age group indicated that they consumed more than 10 standard alcoholic drinks on a weekly basis. Those in the 18 to 29 years old category reported the lowest frequency of drinking more than 10 standard alcoholic drinks in a week.
