FMCG retail sales breakdown China 2023, by channel
In October 2023, grocery stores contributed 26.3 percent of the retail sales of fast-moving consumer goods in China. Comprehensive e-commerce followed with 23.3 percent. Content e-commerce made up only 9.3 percent of the FMCG market, but recorded the highest year-over-year growth of 61.8 percent among all distribution channels.
