Sneaker brands put best foot forward

Nike and adidas are the most popular brands for sports shoes among consumers in the United States, and the two continue to battle it out for supremacy in the country. Nike had a 46 percent share of the sports footwear market in the United States in 2017, but adidas has increased its advertising spending in the region over recent years, and revenue generated across North America has increased as a result.

Athletic shoe trends in the U.S.

The sports footwear market in the United States was valued at 37.46 billion U.S. dollars in 2019 and is forecast to continue rising. Around two-thirds of adults in the United States wear sports shoes in everyday life, and this demand for comfortable and fashionable footwear is one of the main factors driving market growth.
