Low birth weight rates, by race and mother's education level U.S. 2006
This statistic shows the rate at which babies were born with low birth weights to mothers aged 20 years or older, as differentiated by race and education level of the mother. As of 2006,10 percent of babies born to white mothers who hadn't completed their high school education, were born with a low birth weight.
