A lot of aadvertisers in China reduced ad budgets on online search because of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, the revenue of search engine companies in China decreased by around 3.2 percent compared to the previous year. Baidu, Sogou, and Sohu are the leading search engine operators in the Chinese market.
