Coffee import value in the United Kingdom 2020, by region
In 2020, over 187 million British pounds worth of coffee were imported into the United Kingdom from Latin American and the Caribbean. Imports that arrived from the European community had a value of 434 million British pounds. The imports include roasted and decaffeinated coffee, coffee husks, skins, and substitutes with any share of coffee.

A changing market
The UK, usually considered to be a country of tea drinkers, is changing. The consumption of tea per person per week has dropped in the past ten years from 30 to 20 grams. While tea consumption is down, coffee consumption is up by six grams. The shift is carried by the changing tastes of the younger generations.
