Between January and November 2022, three of the 10 leading advertisers in Chile by advertising spending share belonged to Santiago-based Sociedad Anónima Comercial Industrial (S.A.C.I) Falabella, also known as Grupo Falabella. Retail chain Falabella, home improvement store chain Sodimac, and supermarket and hypermarket chain Tottus accounted for 5.26, 2.25, and 2.16 percent of the South American country's total ad expenditure. Based on those figures alone, Grupo Falabella accounted for almost one-tenth of Chile's ad spend throughout most of 2022. The leading ad category in Chile during that period was supermarkets and hypermarkets.
