Close to end-of-life experience and preparation among U.S. adults 2013
This statistic depicts the percentage of U.S. adults that have prepared or had a close experience with end-of-life issues as of 2013. Some 47 percent of U.S. adults have had a friend or relative with a terminal illness in the past five years. In the last 15 years, the percentage of people saying that medical professionals should do everything possible to save a patients life has increased.
