The statistic illustrates the total number of branches of National Central Banks in the countries of the eurozone responsible for production and provision of euro currency banknotes and coins as of the end of December 2018. It can be seen that France had the largest number of National Central Bank branches, with a total of 49 bank branches at that time. Germany and Italy completed the top three, with a total of 36 National Central Bank branches each as of the end of 2018.
