Arts Council England: funded organizations' income 2023

The earned income of organizations regularly funded by Arts Council England (ACE) grew significantly in 2022/2023, following a sharp decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to an ACE study based on a constant sample of 728 organizations, the earned income of such businesses amounted to roughly 983 million British pounds in the 2022/2023 fiscal year. Meanwhile, between April 2022 and March 2023, the income generated from Arts Council England subsidies declined across all arts and cultural industries compared to the previous year.
