This statistic shows the net seat losses/gains after the general election in the United Kingdom (UK) on May 7, 2015. Please note that only parties with a net loss or gain are included in this chart - the Green Party, for example, is not present as they had one seat before the election and held onto that same seat on May 7. The biggest losses were seen in the Liberal Democrat Party. With 49 seats lost this net change was almost as great in magnitude as the SNP's sweeping gains in Scotland.
