This graph depicts the change in the standardized infection ratio (SIR) of healthcare-associated infections in U.S. hospitals in 2014, compared to 2013, by HAI type. Compared to the 2013 SIR baseline, there were eight percent less central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) in 2014.
