AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, a horror drama based on a comic book with the same title, is the leading cable TV series in the U.S. In the Fall of 2016, 18.22 million people watched the series starring the English actor Andrew Lincoln. “The Walking Dead” was also the fourth most viewed primetime TV show in the U.S., only behind two series, “The Big Bang Theory” and “NCIS”, and NFL Sunday Night Football. The series premiered in the U.S. in 2010 and its eighth season is expected to debut in late 2017. As of the first quarter of 2015, it would take two days, one hour and eight minutes, or 2948 minutes to binge watch “The Walking Dead” series.
