This statistic shows the self-sufficiency rate for sugar in Germany from 2009/10 to 2022/23. The self-sufficiency rate indicates the percentage of required agricultural products that are produced domestically. In case of undersupply (under 100 percent) the respective products have to be imported. In 2022/23, the self-sufficiency rate for sugar in Germany was 135 percent.
