Leading Indian airports FY 2022, by domestic freight handled
Delhi's international airport was at the top of the list, with approximately 321 thousand metric tons of freight handled on domestic flights. It was followed by Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj international airport which handled 214 thousand metric tons. Overall, the country observed a 24 percent increase in domestic freights compared to the previous fiscal year.
