Within the Asia-Pacific region, Malaysia had the highest 4G mobile connection share in 2021 with 92 percent, followed by Singapore with 84 percent. For those countries with a current high 4G share, this number was forecasted to decline by 2025. On the other hand, the 4G share for countries with a current low 4G share, such as Bangladesh and Pakistan, was forecasted to increase in the next years.
