U.S. spending on tobacco control and health costs versus tobacco revenues 2024
In 2024, some 730 million U.S. dollars were expected to be spent on preventing tobacco use, while at the same time 26 billion U.S. dollars of revenue was predicted to be generated through tobacco taxes.
