Estimated production of fruits India FY 2019 by state
In the fiscal year 2019, the total production of fruits in India accounted for approximately 98 million metric tons. The produce of fruit from the southern state of Andhra Pradesh during the measured time period was approximately 17 million metric tons, accounting for 16 percent of the nation's produce. The major fruits produced in India were mangos, grapes, apple, apricots, orange, banana, avocados, guava, papaya, sapota and water melon.
