This statistic shows the preferred channels for communication, to receive ads and service messages in the Netherlands in 2016, by communication channel. During the survey, respondents were asked which communication platform they preferred for personal communication, advertisements and service messages. As of 2016, roughly 30 percent of the respondents preferred to use e-mail for their personal communication.
