EU-27: finished steel production by product 2022

In 2022, the total production of hot rolled products amounted to just under 125.4 million metric tons in the European Union. In all years recorded, hot rolled flat steel was produced in the largest quantities compared to other products. In 2022, nearly 75 million metric tons of hot rolled flat products were manufactured. However, this represent a decrease of 11 percent compared to the previous year.
