Deaths in Czechia in 2014, by cause
This statistic displays the number of deaths by cause in the Czech Republic in 2014, by gender. Ischaemic heart disease was the single leading cause of disease in this year with over 13 thousand females and 12.6 thousand males dying as a result of the disease. Other leading causes of death were cancer and cardiovascular disease. IHD is the most common type of CVD and includes diseases such as angina, myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac death.
