Italy: eating behavior of expired foods among households in 2016
This statistic illustrates the opinion of individuals about the eating behavior of household with respect to expired foods in order to reduce the volumes of food waste produced in Italy in the year 2016. According to data, over the survey period, more than half of the respondents (55 percent) stated to never eat expired foods, while, interestingly, 32 percent of the respondents admitted to eat foods expired since less than a week.
