African American daily newspaper circulation in the U.S. 2014-2022
According to the most recently available data, the paid Black-oriented newspaper with the highest average circulation in the United States was African American News in 2022, with an average circulation of 85,500. LA Wave Newspapers followed with close to 76 thousand, but this was a sharp decline from the figure recorded back in 2018. Most newspapers saw a decline in their circulation, with the exception of Philadelphia Tribune and New York Amsterdam News.
