Household financial savings rate France 2000-2021

The financial savings rate of French households in 2020 reached a peak in 2020, as this rate almost doubled in comparison with the previous year. During the last two decades, French households have usually saved between 4 and 7 percent of their disposable personal income. In 2018, the financial savings rate was 4.4 percent, while two years later that figure increased to 9.8 percent.
