In 2023, almost 30 percent of the amount that members of the Chilean Association of Media Agencies (AAM, as abbreviated in Spanish) spent on digital advertising went to social ads. Display advertising followed with a share of 26 percent, while video ranked third, accounting for almost 21 percent of AAM members' digital ad expenditure that year. In 2023, the internet's share in Chile's total ad revenues surpassed 50 percent for the first time.
