Types of cyber crime-related incidents in companies in France 2023
As of January 2023, around 38 percent of IT security experts of French companies identified negligence or error in handling or configuration by an internal party as the most common cyber crime-related issue faced by companies in France. The second most prevalent problem, reported by 37 percent of respondents, was permanent residual vulnerabilities. The implementation or use of unapproved applications, also known as shadow-IT, ranked as the third most common issue faced by French corporates, with 35 percent reporting it.
