* The source adds the following information: "The very significant decrease compared to 2013, the amount of fraud on remote payments made by mail or telephone, and conversely the increase of that on payments on Internet, are largely explained by a modification of the statistical methodology used by the Grouping of Bank Cards (CB). This change, which does not affect the total amount of fraud or the fraud rate of remote payments all channels, affects the distribution of it between the Internet channel and the mail / telephone channel. A study conducted by the Groupement CB has shown that it is preferable to now allocate to the Internet channel the fraud unskilled by the distant trade signs, which was previously assigned by default to the mail / telephone channel."
