Tourism: average number of employed and self-employed workers in Spain 2006-2020
According to the source, during this 13-year period between 2006 and 2020 the average amount of self-employed professionals registered in the Spanish social security system increased steadily, growing by approximately 50 thousand workers. Workers employed by tourism companies grew especially during the last years of the period in consideration, peaking in 2019 at approximately 1.99 million professionals.
