Deaths from lung cancer in Spain 2005-2021, by gender
In 2021, the number of deaths from lung cancer in Spain amounted to around 22,400 cases, slightly up from the 21,900 deaths reported a year earlier. Lung cancer deaths were more common among men than women throughout the analyzed period. In the last year featured, around 16,700 men died from lung cancer, while the number of women who died from this type of cancer amounted to 5,600 in the European country.
