This statistic shows the concentration of regulated tourist places in the tourist districts of the main urban destinations of Spain in 2015. In Palma de Mallorca, of the total number of regulated places available, 65% were in their tourist districts. Only in Barcelona was recorded a higher percentage.

The 12 urban destinations under study comprise 70% of the regulated tourist places and account for 77% of overnight stays registered in 2014 of the total urban destinations analyzed in INE statistics. The districts taken as tourist are:
Barcelona: Ciutat Vella, Eixample, Gràcia, Sant Montjuic, San Martí; Madrid: Center; Seville: Old Town; Valencia: Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample, Estramuro, Poblat Maritim; Málaga: Center; Alicante: Center, San Juan; Granada: Albayzin, Center; Bilbao: Ibaiondo, Abando; San Sebastián: Erdialdea, Parte Zaharra, Gros, Antiguo; Santiago de Compostela: Old Case; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: Isleta-Puerto-Guanarteme.
