The 12 urban destinations under study comprise 70% of the regulated tourist places and account for 77% of overnight stays registered in 2014 of the total urban destinations analyzed in INE statistics. The districts taken as tourist are:
Barcelona: Ciutat Vella, Eixample, GrƠcia, Sant Montjuic, San Martƭ; Madrid: Center; Seville: Old Town; Valencia: Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample, Estramuro, Poblat Maritim; MƔlaga: Center; Alicante: Center, San Juan; Granada: Albayzin, Center; Bilbao: Ibaiondo, Abando; San SebastiƔn: Erdialdea, Parte Zaharra, Gros, Antiguo; Santiago de Compostela: Old Case; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: Isleta-Puerto-Guanarteme.
