Italy: needed activities for agribusiness development 2017
This statistic illustrates the results of a survey conducted in Italy in 2017 among agribusinesses. During the survey, representatives of agricultural companies were asked to express their opinion with regard to the future of the agricultural sector and, particularly, what should a company do in order to enhance its growth and development. Almost half of the surveyed companies (49 percent) stated that agribusinesses should include food processing and direct sales activities in their business model. By contrast, 23 percent of the enterprises declared that the production process should remain the main focus.
