Share of UK adults with credit that are vulnerable to debt 2017, by credit type
This statistic displays the share of adults in the United Kingdom (UK) that had in October 2017 - or in the previous 12 months - a form of credit or loan and were showing characteristics of potential vulnerability to debt, by type of credit. With 97 percent, adults that had a pawnbroker loan were the most likely to be vulnerable to becoming over-indebted. Home collection and Payday loans make up the rest of the top three types of credit that vulnerable individuals use in 2017, with 93 percent and 83 percent respectively.
