Monthly power generation from hydroelectric energy in China 2017-2024
The output of hydroelectric power in January and February 2024 in China was about 139 terawatt-hours. Over the past three years, the hydroelectric power generation had been relatively stable on a year-on-year basis, despite being subjected to heavy seasonal fluctuations. The output volume peaked in July of every year and then decreased until it reached its minimum between December and March. The reason could be the climate in many regions in China is drier during the winter months.
