TV viewership in India -by age group 2020-2022
Television viewership in India halved across all age groups in 2022. Viewers aged between 31 and 50 years constituted the largest group of television consumers with a viewership grossing over 230 billion average minute audience. The recent decline in television viewership in India can be attributed to more and more consumers switching from pay TV to connected TV connections and choosing to only stream video content.
