Share of overweight or obese adults in Italy 2021-2022, by economic condition
Between 2021 and 2022, about 32.6 percent of Italian adults were overweight, while around 10.4 percent of them were obese. This statistic highlights differences in these figures in terms of economic condition of overweight or obese individuals. According to the data, obesity and overweight were more common among people with great or some economic difficulty than among people facing no financial problems.
