In 2022, approximately 23 percent of the Brazilian population aged 18 to 34 was involved in early-stage entrepreneurship, i.e. managing businesses in their first 3.5 years. This was the age range with the highest entrepreneurial engagement rate among the Brazilian adult population that year.
