Total money supply (M3) in Poland 2014-2023
It can be seen that the value of the total money supply increased in nearly every quarter during the period observed. The money supply is the number of monetary assets available in an economy. M3, called the "broad money," is the sum of M1 (currency in circulation and overnight deposits), M2 (M1 plus deposits with a maturity of a maximum of two years and deposits redeemable at notice of a maximum of three months), and marketable instruments issued by Monetary Financial Institutions such as repurchase instruments or money market fund units. The 1st quarter of 2014 reached approximately 980 billion zloty; by the 4th quarter of 2023, this had risen to 2.27 trillion zloty.
