Health spending as share of GDP in Bolivia 2010-2021
Bolivia's spending on health represented eight percent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021. This figure has shown an overall increasing trend in recent years, going from a healthcare expenditure equivalent to five percent of the country's GDP in 2010 to eight percent in the last year depicted. In comparison, that year Cuba's healthcare spending corresponded to 14 percent of its GDP, the highest value reported among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
