Health spending in Guyana as share of GDP 2010-2021
In 2021, spending on health represented five percent of Guyana's gross domestic product (GDP), down from six percent reported a year earlier. During the decade depicted, this figure ranged from an equivalent of four to six percent of the country's GDP. In comparison, that year Cuba's healthcare spending corresponded to 14 percent of its GDP, the highest value reported among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
