Accessing published media digitally was the most common method in the United Kingdom, with 82 percent of the British population being reached per month. During the period of consideration, total reach of all published media stood at 91 percent, with reach highest via smartphones at 74 percent. Likewise, smartphones accounted for the biggest market reaches for news brands (72 percent) and magazines (54 percent).
