This graph shows attitudes towards the effect of criticism of political leaders from news organizations in the United States as of March 2017. The data reveals that 70 percent of respondents said that they believed that news organizations criticizing political leaders has the effect of stopping politicians from doing things that they shouldn't, whereas just 28 percent said that they thought criticism from news outlets prevented political leaders from doing their job.
