Improvements in the Oversight of Government Information Technology Spending

Prepared by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, this report examines government attempts to increase transparency in federal government spending on information technology, particurlarly the work of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The OMB's deployment of a public website for government IT oversight, the IT Dashboard, is examined here in detail along with other OMB efforts.
