Out of the six thousand staff members that were working the event, more than half were responsible for preparing and catering food and drinks. An average of 276,291 glasses of Pimm's were served at Wimbledon 2019, roughly 27 thousand less than the previous year, as well as 234,416 meals and 64,703 ice creams. When it comes to food: scones, sandwiches, baguettes, pizzas, pasta and sushi are popular foods at Wimbledon.

The most popular merchandise products sold at Wimbledon are baseball caps and panama hats, with 58,271 sold during the 2019 Championships, followed by towels and t-shirts with 27,419 and 16,213 respectively.

Roger Federer currently holds the record for men's most single title wins at Wimbledon with a total of eight titles, while the record holder for women is Martina Navratilova with a total of nine titles to her name.

The 2018 Championships reached a cumulative broadcast audience of 26 million on BBC and 29.42 million viewers on ESPN. For American viewers popularity appears to be increasing with age, with the likelyhood of watching being highest among 55 to 64-year-olds.
