Public assessment of the Constitution in Russia 2001-2019

In December 2019, 54 percent of Russians found the country's Constitution to be good, compared to 22 percent who had a negative opinion about it. Since 2001, the share of citizens approving the Constitution increased by 26 percent. The current Russian Constitution was adopted in 1993, with legislative amendments taken in 2020.
