Public opinion of Russians on the need for a strong country leader in 2020

In January 2020, nearly one half of respondents in Russia stated that the country's people always needed a 'strong hand.' Furthermore, over a quarter of survey participants agreed that there were situations when Russia needed a strong and authoritative leader. At the same time, 46 percent of Russians believed that the power in the country should be distributed between various structures in 2019.
